Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić said that she "has in mind" the invitation of her Montenegrin colleague Zdravko Krivokapić to visit Montenegro, stating that it is inconvenient to visit the country from which the Serbian ambassador was expelled.
Brnabić, answering a journalist's question about whether she will visit Montenegro, thanked Krivokapić for the invitation, and added that "it is inconvenient to visit a country where your ambassador has been declared persona non grata".
"We hope that the issue (of the ambassador) can be resolved, and in any other segment of the dialogue, the Government of Serbia and the state leadership have shown how much cooperation with Montenegro means to us at this moment," said Brnabić, reports Tanjug.
She said that at the explicit request of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, she did not reciprocate with Montenegro, and that she "kept its ambassador in Belgrade".
"It is a gesture of an outstretched hand, and we still expect Montenegro to adequately respond to that gesture. We have their invitation in mind and thank them", said Brnabić.
