The Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the other defendants in the "Respirators" case, Fadil Novalić, Fahrudin Solak, Fikret Hodžić and Jelka Milićević, pleaded not guilty.

At the first hearing, held today in the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the accused rejected all allegations of the indictment.

The Prime Minister of the Federation of BiH, Fadil Novalić, rejected the allegations in the indictment as the first indictee.

Novalić's lawyer, Vasvija Vidović, said after the hearing that they clearly wanted to make a "Sanader" case in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is why the conviction of the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was created in advance.

"One case like this is obviously needed by someone," she said, adding that the Prosecutor's Office interfered and prevented the process of installing imported respirators.

The allegations of the indictment were rejected by the suspended director of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection Fahrudin Solak, the owner and director of the company "Srebrena Malina" Fikret Hodžić and the Minister of Finance of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jelka Milićević.

Novalić, Solak and Hodžić are accused of having committed criminal acts in connection with the procurement of 100 respirators from China worth 5,38 million euros, as well as protective equipment worth 1,48 million euros for the needs of the fight against the coronavirus in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Herzegovina.

Minister Jelka Milićević is accused of negligent work in the service.
