The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, said that the country has signed contracts for about 6,5 million vaccines, and that on Monday or Tuesday, it will have another 11 million vaccines against the coronavirus.
Brnabić told TV Pink that 438.000 people have been vaccinated in Serbia so far and that everyone will be provided with revaccination doses.
"Serbia has shown in these most difficult moments that it can be the best, and that is no coincidence," said Brnabić, stating that Serbia is the second in Europe in terms of the number of people vaccinated, after Great Britain.
She said that Serbia stood out as a "strong and tough" country that can provide its citizens with vaccines and medicines, hospitals and has the lowest mortality rate.
According to her, this shows the results of a serious foreign policy led by the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, and that Serbia has excellent relations with the USA, the European Union, Russia, China, India, countries that produce vaccines.
She said that no one should worry about the revaccination.
"We are realistically the first in Europe, because we have already provided revaccination for all those vaccinated," said Brnabić.
