Lebane: The Director of TO threw a shoe at the President of the Municipality, who is his relative

The director of the Tourist Organization in Leban, Bojan Jović, who is a member of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), this morning at the session of the Municipal Assembly threw a shoe at the president of that municipality in Serbia, Ivan Bogdanović, who is his cousin.

As the councilors who attended the session told the Beta agency, this happened while Jović was reporting on the work of the municipal Tourism Organization from the speaker of the assembly. Its director Jović said in his speech that in 2020 that organization did not have the help and support of the Municipality and that he repeatedly asked the President of the Municipality Bogdanović if he was satisfied with the work of the Tourist Organization and his work, but that he did not receive an answer to that, but "threats ".

Since Bogdanović, who was sitting in the first row, did not react to Jović's discussion this time either, he took off his shoe and targeted the President of the Municipality from the speaker.

"We were all in shock. There was silence, but Bogdanović did not react even then. However, the report of the Tourist Organization was adopted by a majority of 17 votes of SNS councilors," said an eyewitness.

Bojan Jović is the brother of Goran Jović, head of the committee group and commissioner of SNS in Leban, while Ivan Bogdanović is married to Goran Jović's daughter. Bojan Jović, as heard on the recording of the opposition GG "Incijativa za Lebane", which has councilors in the Assembly, accused his brother and brother-in-law of "inaction, the decline of the municipality, the bad economic situation, the collapse of tourism and the selective spending of the budget", and alluded to "the possibility of corrupt actions in connection with Ivan Bogdanović".
