Vučić: Danilo is not Vlahović's manager, KRIK wanted to send me a message that I am not a good father

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, said yesterday at a press conference that his son Danilo is not the manager of footballer Dušan Vlahović, as reported by the Italian "La Repubblica", but also accused KRIK that, by conveying the allegations of the Italian newspaper on Danilo's birthday, he wanted to send him a message that he is not a good father and that he ruined the child's life.

"It's not the manager, it's useless for them that the footballer himself and that management agency will deny it, they will continue with it," Vučić said in response to a question from a Pink television journalist about the text of KRIK, in which the writing of the Italian "La Repubblica" was transferred " about the fact that Danilo Vučić is in the team of the manager of one of the most wanted footballers, Dušan Vlahović.

"And why did they choose his birthday - I guess so that I would say to myself that I am not a good father and that I have spoiled and destroyed the child's life. Because if someone published the text on October 8 and you wait to publish nonsense in which nothing is written otherwise precisely on December 1, knowing that then is his birthday, then it is so that I would finally conclude that I am not able to provide for my children so that they can live like everyone else," said the president.

"I am proud of my son, I believe he is a good, honest and responsible young man who works in a wine shop in Belgrade," said Vučić.

Earlier yesterday, Vučić published a photo with his son Danilo on his Instagram profile with the message that "for everyone who attacked our family today and told lies about my son, we prepared a big celebration cake".

Attacks on KRIK for reporting the allegations of the Italian media

After KRIK reported the writing of the Italian newspaper "La Repubblica", representatives of the authorities and the ruling Serbian Progressive Party accused KRIK of lying and attacking the president's family.

Heinous attacks on KRIK were presented by Vladanka Malović, president of the SNS information service on the party's official Twitter account, several ministers - Siniša Mali, Zlatibor Lončar, Irena Vujović, Nikola Selaković, Nebojša Stefanović, Maja Gojković, Branislav Nedimović, provincial government president Igor Mirović , Jadranka Joksimović, the mayor of Novi Sad Miloš Vučević, as well as the vice president of the main board Vladimir Orlić.

In their attacks, they went so far as to claim that KRIK convinced "La Repubblica" to publish this news, and then reported it today in Serbia.

The Italian "La Repubblica" announced at the beginning of October that Dušan Vlahović's agents, including the young Vučić, are responsible for the fact that the Serbian forward rejected the offer of the Fiorentina football club from Florence, where he played for the previous three years, to extend his contract.

Before the publication of the text, KRIK contacted Vlahović's official agents - the "International Sports Office" agency from Belgrade and its director Darko Ristic, who denied that Vučić was employed by them, and therefore Vlahović's agent.

The same reaction to KRIK journalists came from Suzana Vasiljević, the president's media advisor, who stated that the Italian newspaper had published fabrications and stated that she would advise Danilo Vučić to sue them.
