From today, all employees in the public administration in Albania, as well as in shopping centers or supermarkets, will have to have a covid pass or a negative PCR test to be able to continue working.
In December, the Albanian authorities made a decision to introduce new restrictions related to covid-19, including mandatory vaccination for everyone who wants to be in the workplace, Albanian Daily News reported.
According to local media, unvaccinated workers must be tested every five days.
"We remind you that from Tuesday, all employees in public administration, supermarkets and shopping centers as a category that poses a risk to others will submit a vaccination document or a certificate of cure valid for up to six months," announced the chairperson of the competent expert committee, Mira Rakacoli.
In Albania, a curfew is in effect from 23 pm to XNUMX am, and everyone entering the country must show a covid pass or a negative test.
