Next to the building of the National Assembly of Republika Srpska, a group of demobilized fighters gathered, who accompanied the entry of the Serbian member of the BiH Presidency Milorad Dodik, RS President Željka Cvijanović, as well as HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović into the parliament building.
Demonized fighters also whistled at the president of the United Srpska (US) Nenad Stevandić.
The member of the ruling SNSD, Vlado Đajić, approached a group of demobilized fighters, but they booed him, after which he turned and went to the parliament building.
Demobilized members of the former Army of the Republika Srpska (VRS) demand that a special session of the Parliament of the Republika Srpska (RS) be scheduled on the rights of combatants.
They stated that they are dissatisfied that the invitation to attend today's session of the RS parliament was sent to the leader of the Democratic Action Party (SDA) Bakir Izetbegović and the president of the Croatian Democratic Union of BiH (HDZ BIH) Dragan Čović to address the deputies.
They announced that they will stay in front of the parliament building until someone in charge addresses them.
The National Assembly of Republika Srpska started a special parliamentary session today, where the current political and economic situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be discussed.
HDZ BiH leader Dragan Čović will also address the MPs, while Bakir Izetbegović, the leader of the Democratic Action Party (SDA), refused to come to the RS parliament, explaining that these issues should be discussed in the BiH parliament.
