The Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, Dragan Lukač, said today that in Bosnia and Herzegovina, more than 2.000 people used encrypted phones and the Sky application for criminal activities.

Lukac said that none of them can be protected.

"All those who used encrypted phones and the 'Sky' application cannot be protected. I suggest that they come and turn themselves in, tell what they did, because the police will come to them sooner or later," said the RS Minister of the Interior. at the press conference in Banja Luka.

He went on to say that 19 people were arrested yesterday in the operation "Staza", which is carried out by the MUP of RS in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and announced the continuation of the arrest of more people involved in crime and drug trafficking.

"We were looking for a few more people, who were not available, because they are not in BiH, but warrants will be issued for them and they will be the subject of a search not only by the MUP of the Republika Srpska, but also by other police in the region and Europe," he said. Lukač.

According to him, based on the decryption of the "Skaj" application, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS obtained all the information about the contacts and movements of this group of criminals.

Lukač emphasized that these are serious criminal groups, which work with large quantities of drugs and huge amounts of money, which they get through drug smuggling.

"Among these persons there are also those who can be linked to certain murders that took place in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in the region and who have contacts with international criminals and international channels for the distribution of narcotic drugs," he said.
