In Slovenia, the number of newly infected with the coronavirus continues to decrease, as well as all other indicators of the epidemic, and the Slovenian government has announced that it will discuss the partial easing of measures and adaptation to the new situation of calming the infection.
In the past 24 hours, with 1.062 PCR tests and 48.983 rapid antigen tests, 3.601 cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed, currently there are 140.334 active cases, and seven patients have died, the National Institute for Public Health NIJZ announced.
The number of hospitalized patients is currently stable, and the government will soon discuss with epidemiologists the possible adjustment of the current measures, reports Hina.
Mateja Logar, who heads the government's crisis headquarters for covid-19, told Slovenian radio that general sanitary measures, wearing masks, disinfection, maintaining distance, airing the space and working from home will certainly not change in the coming weeks.
However, as she added, a partial relaxation of the measures can be expected in activities where there is short-term contact between users and service providers, and if the spatial conditions are such that there are not too many crowds.
Likewise, relaxation could occur for activities that take place outdoors, she added.
In Slovenia, 1.262.794 people have been protected with at least one dose of the vaccine so far, and 1.215.850 of them, i.e. 57,7 percent of the total population, have been fully vaccinated.
