The day after the Council of the European Union approved the seventh package of sanctions against Russia, the government of that country updated and expanded the list of countries it considers hostile and which, as stated on the website of the Government of Russia, "carry out hostile actions against Russian diplomatic and consular missions abroad."
The list now also includes countries from the region Croatia and Slovenia, as well as Greece, Denmark and Slovakia, it reports N1.
The Government of Russia passed a decree to implement the decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin from April 2021 "On the application of measures to influence (against) hostile actions of foreign states".
In addition to the name of the country, the list also includes the number of persons on the territory of Russia with whom diplomatic missions of "enemy countries" and their consular missions can enter into employment contracts.
According to the new list, Greece has a limit of 34 persons, Denmark – 20, Slovakia – 16. Slovenia and Croatia will not be able to employ employees in their diplomatic and consular missions from among persons from the territory of the Russian Federation.
The list is not final and may be expanded, it was announced from Moscow.
