The head of the Dveri parliamentary group, Boško Obradović, today, during the determination of the agenda of the session of the Assembly of Serbia, asked to accept the resolution of that movement on the defense of Kosovo and Metohija and showed a large, gray stone that, as he said, he had brought from Kosovo.
He picked up a stone and began reciting Đura Jakšić's poem "Fatherland".
The President of the Assembly, Maja Gojković, therefore declared a break and demanded that the stone be removed.
"I don't understand why the stone I brought yesterday from Kosovo and Metohija, and the song by Đura Jakšić would bother you," Obradović told her.
Gojković asked the security guards to help Obradović carry the stone, warning the deputy that it cannot be brought into the Assembly, let alone into the hall, and called on him to prove that the stone is from Kosovo.
"You yourself know that you cannot bring such things into the hall of the parliament. I don't know how it got into the building in the first place. It is a question for the security of the parliament - how is it possible to bring stones. I ask for silence so that we can continue with the agenda ", said Maja Gojković.
Obradović then called on the deputies to accept the Dveri resolution, stating that "everyone who is interested in the defense of Kosovo and Metohija should vote for it".
"This resolution is a chance to return to the patriotic path," said Obradović to the representatives of the ruling majority.
His proposal was not adopted because only eight MPs voted for putting that resolution on the agenda.
