The conflict between Zorana Mihajlović and the Socialist Movement does not "shake" the government, and disagreements are a normal thing, says Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić.

She stated that serious matters await the members of her cabinet and that one should not waste time on such situations.

When asked if she will dismiss the Minister of Defense Aleksandr Vulin because of the "affair" regarding the purchase of an apartment, the Prime Minister said that she will not comment on it in public and that these are matters for the government to decide.

"I don't want to work under pressure, therefore, pressure from the media or any other pressure will definitely not speed up someone's dismissal or hiring," said Brnabić.

She said that she has a personal opinion about the case that appeared in the media, and that she has already stated the official one.

She reiterated that she understands the emotional reaction of the Socialist Movement, as she too had such a reaction when Krik published information concerning her, adding that the publication of her mother's assets had nothing to do with her taking office in the government.

She herself, she says, is in favor of extending the property verification to family members, but reminds that this is not the case now.

In any case, when it comes to the Defense Minister's apartment, he believes that everything should be investigated and that state institutions must be strong and independent.

She repeated that she does not agree with the rhetoric used by the Socialist Movement in response to Zorana Mihajlović, stressing that such rhetoric is not good for society.

Would I like the two ministers not to fight through the media? I would absolutely love to and will talk to them about it. I have already talked, and I think that the citizens should be interested in the results of the work," said Brnabić.
