Serbia: Indictment against 38 "witch doctors", the organizer allegedly an associate of Zvicer

The Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime in Serbia filed an indictment against 38 persons, members of an organized criminal group, the so-called "witch doctors", charging them with three murders and five attempted murders.

That organized criminal group is accused by the indictment of having committed the criminal offenses of association for the purpose of committing criminal offences, unauthorized production, possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons and explosive materials, aggravated murder and aggravated attempted murder and money laundering, reports Tanjug, stating that they confirmed in the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime.

The indictment named Nikola Vušović as one of the organizers of the criminal group. Last month, it was announced that the same prosecutor's office issued an order to conduct an investigation against him and the alleged leader of the Kavaka clan, Radoj Zvicer, due to the suspicion that they tried to poison a member of their criminal team, who was ready to cooperate with the investigators, in the Spuja prison. It was then announced that they are suspected of having created a criminal organization on the territory of Serbia and Montenegro with the aim of committing more murders, smuggling drugs, weapons... from 2019 to November 11, 2022.

According to Tanjug, the indictment was brought against Nikola Vušović, Uroš Piperski, Nedeljko Todorović, Dario Đorđević, Luka Cerović, Miloš Miljanović, Aleksandar Milošević, Aleksandar Naumovski, Vladan Miketić, Vladimir Kovačević, Vuk Ursulov, Darko Maletić, Raš Ban, Đorđe Knežević. . Savić, Filip Grujić, Ivan Biletić, Vojin Stupar, Miloš Andrijević, Aleksandar Ostojić, Draško Nikolić and Nikola Vukojević.

The indictment names Nikola Vušović and Uroš Piperski as the organizers of that organized criminal group, and together with the other accused members, they are charged with three murders and five attempted murders committed in Belgrade.

These are the murders of Aleksandar Halabrin on March 20, 2020, Dragan Ristic on September 10, 2020, and Aleksandar Sarac on October 17, 2020.

Attempted murders were committed on October 7, 2019, on the now deceased Lazar Vukićević, on December 29, 2019, on Samir Divljanović, on May 11, 2020, on Miloš Nilović, on November 27, 2020, on Andrija Zarić and on February 1, 2021. on Arsenij Stefanović.

Of the 38 accused, 20 are in custody, two are serving prison sentences for previously committed crimes, five were arrested in other countries, two in Montenegro, one each in the Netherlands, Portugal and the Netherlands, while 11 are on the run.
