There are disagreements between Prime Minister Ana Brnabić and First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dačić, writes b92, referring to "Blic". The last verbal clash took place at the cabinet meeting.
According to the newspaper's sources, tensions between Brnabić and Dačić have existed ever since the bid was made for which of the two would replace Aleksandar Vučić as Prime Minister. Dacic hoped, as the newspaper claims, that it would be him, because he had hints that Vučić would choose him.
As "Blic" learns, the last verbal clash between the Prime Minister and her first deputy took place at the Government session that took place fifteen days ago. The newspaper writes that everything was fine at the beginning of the session, but then Dacic protested about why the materials for the session and the appointment of officials were delivered to the ministers before the beginning of the session, and not before.
Dacic thereby, as the newspaper claims, practically reprimanded Brnabićeva. Minister Jadranka Joksimović responded to that, telling him that there was no reason to protest because he, like the others, was a minister, and there was a brief pause.
However, there was a new tightening of rhetoric soon, because Dacic did not want to give up his position that the materials for the Government session and the appointment of officials should be submitted before the session in order to know who and what it is about.
Brnabić replied that she would regulate everything, but the head of diplomacy continued, but briefly, because a "cold shower" followed.
"I was here in the government for eight months and I didn't see you behave like that. I don't remember that you were allowed to discuss like this during Vučić's time," Brnabić told him.
However, that was not the only spark between the ministers and the Prime Minister. Allegedly, as "Blic" writes, at one point the minister Jadranka Joksimović also reacted, after determining which of the ministers would be in which committee. Joksimović said that she did not agree with being on the Administrative Board and added that it would be good if they agreed next time, before making decisions.
Minister Mihajlović also reacted, telling the Prime Minister that she should have given the transcript of her interview in which she talked about the relationship between Serbia, the EU and Russia, first to the members of the Government, and not to the Russian ambassador.
