The trial of the criminal clan of Veljko Belivuk for seven serious murders and numerous other crimes continued before the special department for organized crime of the High Court in Belgrade.
The first defendant, Veljko Belivuk, continued to express objections to the testimony of the defendant's associates Srđan Lalić, Bojan Hrvatin and Nikola Spasojević, who testified before the court from November 2022 to mid-May of this year.
Belivuk still said today that the prosecutor's associates in this proceeding are lying and that they were instructed by the prosecution, but he also said that he has information that a new associate witness will appear in the proceeding, reports N1.
"You will see, soon a new fourth associate will appear before you in the courtroom with a new 'famous notebook', which will clear up everything that Lalić, Hrvatin and Spasojević missed. Then the prosecution will let these three go down the drain, and he will become a key witness, it's just that he won't be sentenced like Lalić to 18 years, that's too much for him, he wants less, and he'll be accused of many more crimes than Lalić. You'll see, judge, that it will be like that," Belivuk said.
During the presentation of his remarks on the testimony of the defendant's associates, Belivuk, as in the previous hearing, read the transcripts from each hearing and presented his observations and findings on what was said, and not concrete remarks, as he should and on what he felt at the previous hearing as well. the president of the court panel pointed out to the hearing.
Usually Belivuk would read entire paragraphs and then state that the associate was either lying or, in his opinion, speaking illogically.
"Spasojević, for example, wrote down everything that Lalić said during his testimony, he just exaggerated a bit in writing down. He said the same sentences as Lalić," said Belivuk.
Belivuk also said that the prosecutor's office is constantly trying to turn the fan group "Iz Principa" into an organized criminal group "Principi".
"We always point out that we are a fan group 'On principle', but it's not true," Belivuk said.
He also added that the alleged bunker or base under the south stand at the Partizan Stadium, where members of the clan, as stated in the indictment, committed certain criminal acts, was in fact just a restaurant that the fans remodeled and organized concerts and humanitarian actions for children there. from Kosovo, voluntary blood donation.
"That base or bunker is located under the south stand. Well, I guess the police or Partizan administration would not allow me to have something like that. We raised that restaurant from the ashes, which the politicians would say 'there were snakes, rats and drug addicts there.' was our second home, we spent time there. We loved it, as well as the stadium, and we still love it today," Belivuk said.
