The school board of the "Vladislav Ribnikar" Elementary School in Belgrade was replaced, and a temporary management body of five members was appointed, which has held one session so far, the media reports today.
"At that first session, the measures ordered by the republican education commission after the extraordinary supervision began to turn from words into actions," writes "Politika", stating that the inspection of extraordinary supervision began on May 22, while on May 29 the educational top announced that the supervision was completed and that it was proposed that the principal of the school, Snežana Knežević, and the school board that manages the school be relieved of their duties.
After that, it was necessary to appoint a temporary management body, which was done, but also to appoint an acting director of the eight-year-old school, which has not yet been done, "Politika" stated.
In addition, it was ordered that disciplinary proceedings be instituted against the pedagogue, psychologist and secretary of the school, which means that they will be suspended until the end of the proceedings.
On Wednesday, May 3, eight students and a janitor were killed in the "Vladislav Ribnikar" primary school in Vračar, while six children and one teacher were wounded. In the meantime, another student died as a result of her injuries.
Because of the shooting, KK (13), a student of that school, was arrested, who confessed to having committed mass murder.
