Predrag Koluvija, the first accused in the "Jovanjica" case, who is on trial because he, as the owner of the estate of the same name, grew huge amounts of marijuana, announced today in a video message that the introduction of American sanctions against the head of the Security Information Agency, Aleksandar Vulin, has nothing to do with him.
On Twitter, with a message that he wanted to stop speculation, he said that he "heard all kinds of things these days".
As he stated, "he respects the presumption of innocence and will not go into the essence of why sanctions were imposed on Mr. Vulin".
"The only thing I can tell you is that I neither have sanctions, nor have my visa for the USA been suspended. Therefore, I am one hundred percent sure that it has nothing to do with me, because the hemp industry is legal in the USA - as well as in Serbia ", said Koluvija.
The US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on Vulin, claiming he was involved in international organized crime, drug trafficking and abuse of public office.
