Police officer from Gradačac Dženana Selimović, who is linked to Nermin Sulejmanović, will be suspended on Thursday, Dževad Korman, director of the Tuzla Canton Police Administration, confirmed for N1 Sarajevo.
"Officer Dženana Selimović returned from her annual vacation. Today she requested medical help and took sick leave. I ordered that all relevant facts and evidence be prepared by tomorrow morning, on the basis of which she could possibly be temporarily removed, that is, temporarily suspended until ending the disciplinary procedure for the time being," said Korman, according to reports N1.
"All the knowledge we have casts doubt on associating with criminally active persons, and in that regard she violated the code and committed an official violation of disciplinary duty. So we are working in that direction. So, on that point alone, nothing is connected to this last event," he added.
Let's remind you, the public is speculating that allegedly Dženana Selimović revealed the location where Nizama Hećimović was killed. However, these allegations have not yet been confirmed, writes N1 Sarajevo.
Dženana Selimović's lawyer, Bakir Hećimović, previously told the media that she allegedly had no contact with Nermin Sulejmanović.
"She is being lynched by the media for no reason. All of this is unfounded until there is at least indicative evidence that she had any contact with Sulejmanović at all. They also say that she fled to Italy, however, she is on annual vacation and will report regularly on August 16 to her Gradačac police station and regularly continue with her tasks. If it turns out that Dženana had nothing to do with the killer, we will initiate a series of lawsuits in her interest," said the lawyer.
On August 11, Nermin Sulejmanović committed a triple murder, and three people were wounded. He broadcast the murder of his unmarried wife live on Instagram. Sulejmanović was reported to the police for violence a few days earlier.
He committed suicide during the police chase.
