Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić said that she does not know why former minister Jovana Marović was banned from entering Montenegro, stating that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić gave an answer to that.
"I don't know, to be honest, President Vucic gave an answer to that and asked the security services to allow entry to everyone, and I don't think there is a problem. On the other hand, we have numerous citizens of Serbia who have been banned from entering Montenegro in recent years so you never asked yourself why and how it is in accordance with democratic norms and insights," Brnabić said during the Bled Forum, writes Pobjeda.
She said that Serbia wants the best relations with Montenegro, and that she wants us to have a well-connected Western Balkans.
"We want a prosperous Western Balkans, we want stability because it is important for the arrival of investors, the growth of pensions and for a better standard of living of citizens," she said.
Asked to comment on the formation of the Government in Montenegro and the fact that Serb representatives will not be part of it, she said that she did not know why Serbs could not be part of the government.
"I hope that we will cooperate with that government, we will do our best, and why the Serbs cannot get or participate in the government in Montenegro, I don't know, but I certainly think that they are an important part of Montenegro," she said.
