Prime Minister Ana Brnabić stated that in the relations between Belgrade and Pristina roles are divided in advance in which Serbia is "constantly the villain" and Pristina is "a poor helpless force that does everything it can", and that in this "the factual situation has no weight".
Brnabić told Prva television that during the interview of President Aleksandar Vučić with CNN, viewers could see what "the pressure on Serbia looks like", reports N1.
She also accused the entire opposition in Serbia that "there is no difference between" what they say and what Pristina says, when it comes to the events in Kosovo.
Brnabić said that she "does not justify" the killing of anyone, not even the killing of an Albanian member of the Kosovo police, but added that the Serbs in Kosovo suffer constant pressure from the authorities in Pristina, which is why it was "a matter of days, a matter of minutes" when of the incident.
"You cannot live under such terror all the time," said Brnabić.
Asked to comment on the arrest of Milan Radoičić, until recently an official of the Serbian List, who is suspected of organizing an armed incident in which a Kosovo policeman and three uniformed and armed Serbs were killed on September 24 in Banjska in the north of Kosovo, Brnabić said that Serbia is a "state of law".
"This is a legal state and we will do everything we have to do in accordance with the law and the Constitution, to investigate all the circumstances and to act in accordance with them," said Brnabić.
She also said that "we have to collect all the evidence and defend the absolute truth", before the session of the United Nations Security Council on Kosovo and Metohija, which is scheduled for October 18.
The Prime Minister of Serbia told journalists on Kablar that representatives of Serbia can only speak the truth, because the truth protects Serbia's position.
"The truth protects us. If these others were protected by the truth, they would not use lies and misinformation. It is true that Aljbin Kurti only wants ethnic cleansing in Kosovo and Metohija. He does not want Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. He doesn't want Roma either. And no one prevents that," said Brnabić.
She stated that even today at the meeting with UNMIK, she said that she would like everyone in Serbia to be a "Gandhi", but that by the nature of things it cannot be every person and that Kurti was waiting until someone could not suffer anymore, but to hurt his family.
When asked about the videos of the events in Banjska, shown by the authorities in Pristina, Brnabić said that they showed both what was and what was not, but that they did not show how the three Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija were killed.
"Did they kill them from a distance, in battle, or did they kill them while they were lying down and already surrendered and executed, which is against all the rules. "I am convinced that that video also exists," said Brnabić.
Asked about the elections, Brnabić said that as soon as Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić offered them in December, the opposition said they did not want them.
She announced that the budget will be on the agenda of the Government session on Thursday.
Brnabić also said that next Thursday, the budget proposal for 2024 will go to the Government, and immediately afterwards to the Assembly of Serbia for adoption.
