Serbian crime boss Filip Korac was arrested on Friday in Hungary, KRIK learns. Korać was arrested on the order of the French police.
Korača is wanted by France for drug trafficking, and the evidence against him is the messages he exchanged through the "Sky" application. By the way, he lived in France for a part of his life.
Bosnia and Herzegovina is also looking for Korać, which has also issued an international warrant for him for drug trafficking.
In Croatia, Korać was given a suspended sentence last year for forging a passport.
The only country that seems not to be interested in him is Serbia - of which he is a citizen. As far as is known, there is no warrant issued for Korac in Serbia.
Korać, by the way, inherited the management of the criminal group from the famous criminal Luka Bojović when he ended up in prison in Spain in 2012.
Korac's group participated in a multi-year criminal war in the Balkan underground.
He fought on the side of the Skaljar clan, and against the Kavaka group. His biggest enemy in Serbia was a group led first by Aleksandar Stanković Sale Mutavi, and then by Veljko Belivuk. Korać also fought with this group over supremacy over the stands at the "Partizana" stadium.
Belivuk and his associates also planned Korac's murder, the investigation found. They killed one of his closest associates, sent him photos of the disfigured body of his associate via "sky" and tried to lure him in order to liquidate him.
