Kurti: We are asking for the signature and implementation of the European and Ohrid Agreements in their entirety

The Government of Kosovo announced that the European Agreement from February and the Ohrid Agreement from March this year must be applied in full, without conditions or delays, reports N1.

After several hours of meetings between the Prime Minister of Kosovo and European officials in Brussels, Pristina stated that Kurti was ready to sign an agreement with Serbia, but that President Aleksandar Vučić refused this time as well.

The Government of Kosovo announced that Kurti emphasized that, after the attack in Banjska on September 24, his priority was the security of Kosovo, especially the security of the border with Serbia, where, as he said, the attackers came from who carried out the "terrorist and criminal attack". .

He asked European officials and leaders to punish Serbia and introduce sanctions, so that an event like the one in Banjska would not happen again, it was reported from Pristina.

The Government of Kosovo announced that Kurti was ready to sign the European and Ohrid Agreements, as well as the agreement that would be reached today, but that the President of Serbia refused to sign, asking for another document that would annul the three principles of the Basic Agreement, the Annex on Implementation (Ohrid agreement), as well as the draft proposal brought to Pristina and Belgrade by the representatives of the Quinte countries on October 21.

"At the end of the meeting, Kurti said: 'Acceptance implies a signature, only a signature implies acceptance and guarantees implementation,'" the Kosovo government said in a statement.
