The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Aljbin Kurti, assessed today that two months have passed since the attack in Banjska and that there was enough time to carry out a detailed investigation and draw conclusions about it.
"In order for the violence not to be repeated, the conclusions of the EU, KFOR, EULEX, USA investigations are important, on the one hand, but also the introduction of sanctions on Serbia, on the other hand," Kurti said.
"We do not want measures and sanctions for Serbia only as a punishment, but above all so that there is no repetition. We cannot tolerate any events that resemble the terrorist and criminal attack of September 24, and that is why we must act now, not tomorrow," he said. is the Prime Minister of Kosovo to journalists. He added that in the past nine months, Serbia has violated at least eight of the 11 points of the Basic Agreement on the way to the normalization of relations, and therefore "signing the agreement is what would cancel the violations and guarantee its acceptance and stable application".
Speaking about the draft statute of the Union of Municipalities with a Serbian majority (ZSO), Kurti said that it is up to the mediators in the dialogue to decide when to publish the draft of the ZSO Statute.
