Bishop Irinej of Bačka today congratulated the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, on the "triumph of the patriotic option" in the elections, addressing him as "esteemed Mr. President, dear friend", congratulating him at the same time on the glory of Saint Nicholas.
As announced by the Media Cooperation Service of the President of the Republic, Vučić received a congratulatory note from Bishop Irinej on the occasion of the successfully held extraordinary parliamentary and local elections and the victory of the coalition "Aleksandar Vučić - Serbia must not stop".
In his congratulatory message, Bishop Irinej congratulated him from the bottom of his heart, wishing him long life and family happiness, as well as "success in the mission of preserving Serbia and Serbia in difficult circumstances".
"At the same time, I send you my hearty congratulations on the occasion of the electoral triumph of the patriotic option that you, together with your colleagues, represent and for which, without sparing yourself, you advocate, with a prayerful desire that God bless you and give you much success in the further performance of the most responsible state duty entrusted to you , in our time of enormous challenges and temptations that our Motherland and the Serbian people as a whole are facing," said Bishop Irinej.
