Voting for the extraordinary parliamentary elections, which were held on December 35, is being repeated today at 17 polling stations in Serbia.
In the repeated elections, which the coalition "Serbia against violence" previously announced that they would boycott, polling stations will open at 7.00:20.00 a.m. and voting will last until XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., until which time the election silence lasts.
As announced by the Republic Election Commission (REC), voting for deputies is repeated at certain polling stations in Niš and Subotica, as well as in some polling stations in the municipalities of Babušnica, Bojnik, Veliko Gradište, Vlasotince, Trstenik, Žagubica, Koceljeva, Lebane, Petrovac na Mlava, Plandište, Raška, Svrljig, Tutin, Ćuprija, Arandjelovac, Kosjerić, Kula, Topola and Ćuprija.
Voting will also take place at three polling stations for the Belgrade City Assembly, at polling station number 73 in the Voždovac municipality and polling stations number 15 and 122 in the Novi Belgrade municipality.
The coalition "Serbia against violence" announced earlier that it will not participate in the repeated elections, because it does not want to participate in the continuation of the "election fraud".
Since December 18, representatives of that coalition have been organizing protests in Belgrade demanding that the elections be annulled, due to irregularities and violation of the citizens' electoral will, and several MPs and officials of the parties that make up the "Serbia against violence" electoral list are on hunger strike.
