During New Year's Eve, incidents occurred in several cities of the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and one person was killed in a traffic accident near Trebinje.
In Zvornik last night, around five minutes after midnight, a man was wounded by a gunshot.
The Zvornik Police Department announced that the assailant had fled and that the police were looking for him.
"The man R.S. suffered injuries and after receiving medical help at the hospital in Zvornik, he was sent to the University Clinical Center Tuzla for further treatment," the Zvornik police announced.
In Nevesinje, around 45 minutes after midnight, a fight broke out in a catering establishment, in which a man from Novi Sad, N.V., was seriously injured.
According to the police report S.S. from Nevesinje attacked N.V. from Novi Sad who suffered head injuries.
Early this morning in Banja Luka, it was reported to the police that a woman stabbed her husband with a knife after an argument, who was transferred to the University Clinical Center for treatment.
