On February 16, one person was arrested at the Sarajevo airport due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he had committed the criminal acts of "Illegal formation and joining of foreign paramilitary or parapolice formations", "Organizing a terrorist group" and "Terrorism".
This is stated in the press release of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), whose members made the arrest.
It is also emphasized that the person was arrested on the basis of a warrant issued by SIPA.
"The person deprived of liberty was taken to the premises of SIPA, and after the criminal processing, together with the report on the committed criminal offense, within the legal term, he will be handed over to the BiH Prosecutor's Office for further jurisdiction and action," the statement added.
"Illegal formation and joining of foreign paramilitary or parapolice formations", "Organizing a terrorist group" and "Terrorism" are prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
SIPA police officers carried out the arrest in cooperation with the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH and the Border Police of BiH.
