The Kosovo media published a video allegedly showing the controversial Serbian businessman from Kosovo Milan Radoičić brutally punching the former mayor of North Mitrovica, Aleksandar Spirić, and knocking him to the floor, reports Nova.rs.
According to local sources, that incident took place "some time ago" in the "Grey" hotel on Kopaonik, which Radoičić owns.
The recording was published primarily on Kosovo's RTK. The publication states that Spirić did not respond to that media's calls to comment on the recording.
In the meantime, RTK contacted the Kosovo Police asking for information on whether Spiric has initiated proceedings against Radoičić. According to Veton Elšani from the Kosovo Police, no report was filed in this institution, reports Nova.rs.
Radoičić, the former vice-president of the Serbian List, previously claimed responsibility for organizing the conflict in the village of Banjska in Kosovo on September 24 last year.
He was arrested in Belgrade, but after a hearing in the High Court in Belgrade, he was released to defend himself. Then the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade launched an investigation. Even four months later, that investigation has not revealed anything.
On Sunday, September 24 last year, a Kosovo policeman was killed in the village of Banjska, after which the action of the special units of the Kosovo police targeted an armed group that tried to find refuge in the Banjska monastery. Three Serbs, originally from the north of Kosovo, were killed in the action.
