The president of the Serbian Radical Party, Vojislav Šešelj, confirmed at today's hearing, held in the Third Basic Court in Belgrade, that in the shows broadcast on the Happy and Pink televisions, he said everything that was stated in the lawsuit of the journalist of the Radio-television of the Republika Srpska (RTRS), Nataša Miljanović Zubac. writes the Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS).
Dissatisfied with the way the judge conducts the proceedings, he asked for his dismissal. The case files will be submitted to the president of the Third Basic Court, in order to decide on Seselj's proposal to remove the acting judge.
By the way, Nataša Miljanović Zubac sued Šešelj for the insults he directed to her and her family in the program "Good morning, Serbia" on Television Happy, but also in "New Morning" broadcast on Pink television, connecting her with Bishop Grigori Durić. He called the journalist derogatory names, and stated that because of all the events connected with Bishop Grigori "her husband killed himself at his father's grave".
Directly addressing the lawyer present and reading the allegation, Seselj confirmed that he had said everything stated in the aforementioned broadcasts.
"Since people convinced me of the details, I decided to bring it to the public," he stated.
The trial was also attended by Miljanović's son Zubac, who listened to everything Sešelj said. As he did not deny that he said any of the aforementioned, the presentation of evidence from the video recordings of the shows broadcast on Happy and Pink televisions was invalidated.
After the trial, Miljanović Zubac addressed the audience and said that she said a lot in the farewell letter of her late husband, which she submitted at the previous hearing.
"The case reached the Agency for Investigation and Protection - SIPA and the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since Sešelj publicly insulted me, a series of attacks on me followed: a car was set on fire in front of the house where I lived, infrared rays were on the wall of the living room, on my body and on the threshold of the house where I lived. I was also intercepted while driving by a criminal person, and a doll with a severed head, sprinkled with red liquid, was placed on the doorstep of the house where I lived. "By the way, a written message 'Dead mouths do not speak' was left on that threshold," she said.
She added that "she knows the names of people from Trebinje who dealt with her and the case related to Seselj".
By the way, Šešelj requested that Bishop Grigorije Durić be heard as a witness, because as a church person he cannot make a false statement in court. Lawyer Miljanović Zubac opposed this proposal because it was given after the expiration of the deadline prescribed by the Law. Seselj's proposal was rejected, and he, dissatisfied with that and because, as he claims, he did not win the lawsuit, asked for the judge's disqualification.
"It is an indisputable fact that I only received the lawsuit today and I did not read it in its entirety. I was objectively prevented from making proposals for the evidentiary proceedings, which I informed the court about in a timely manner. I request that the president of the Third Basic Court grant the request and appoint another judge who will continue to conduct this proceeding," he stated in the request for the judge's disqualification.
Attorney Miljanović Zubac said that it is not clear how Šešelj did not receive the lawsuit, but was summoned to the first hearing.
The trial continues after the decision of the President of the Third Basic Court.
