The President of the Serbian Parliament, Ana Brnabić, said today, after talks with the opposition, that the government cannot accept the condition that all local elections be held on the same day, including the Belgrade ones, while she accepted the requests for voter lists and the media in principle.
Since the opposition is not giving up on the third request, for which it has given until Wednesday to think about it, Brnabić said that it is an ultimatum and that nothing will change until Wednesday, N1 reported.
As she stated, the final date for elections is June 2 for Belgrade, and all other elections will be consolidated when the time is right.
"They said either these three requests or there is nothing to talk about. That is an ultimatum, I invite them to think again and to continue talking about the ODIHR recommendations," said Brnabić.

Representatives of the "Serbia Against Violence" (SPN) and Nada coalitions announced that no agreement was reached at today's talks with government representatives on meeting the ODIHR recommendations for election conditions and announced the continuation of talks on Wednesday, when the deadline to accept the conditions for fair elections expires.
"We will not agree to new election theft. We have received signals about what the government could accept, but we will not agree to a partial solution, for the government to choose which of the requests to fulfill," said MP Radomir Lazović, at a press conference in the hall of the Serbian Parliament. in a joint address with representatives of Nada.
When asked what will happen if the government does not accept them on Wednesday, he emphasized that "the situation is too serious" to say in advance what the opposition will do.
He said that the two coalitions are ready to find a solution, but that the government must show such desire and provide guarantees that any agreement will be respected.
He reminded that requests related to voter lists, the media scene and the holding of simultaneous local elections, where they were not organized last December, were presented to the authorities.
The president of the New Democratic Party of Serbia (New DSS), Miloš Jovanović, who is in a coalition with the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia (POKS), said that the two coalitions are determined and united in their demands.
"Our demands are the bare minimum and are not a whim or an ultimatum, although the government will try to present it to the public," he said.
"We don't want elections under the conditions of last December, especially in Belgrade, where there were massive abuses. We can freely cancel such elections and declare Aleksandar Vučić a marshal," said Jovanović.
