One of the suspects in the murder of two-year-old Danka Ilić confessed to the crime, while the other JS defended himself by remaining silent, announced the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Zaječar, Serbia.
As reported by N1, the prosecution announced that on April 5, it issued an order to conduct an investigation against the suspects JS and DD, due to the existence of a well-founded suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of aggravated murder in complicity under Art. 114th st. 1st point. 9. in connection with Art. 33. CC.
It is stated that the suspects were questioned by the prosecutor's office, during which DD fully admitted to committing the crime, while JS defended himself by remaining silent.
"At the request of the prosecution, the judge for the preliminary proceedings of the High Court in Zaječar ordered the suspects to be detained for up to 30 days, due to the risk of escape, the possibility of influencing witnesses and destroying or removing traces of the commission of a criminal offense, as well as due to public disturbance. O in the further course of the proceedings, witnesses will be questioned and the necessary expert reports will be conducted," the announcement states.
SJ (50) and DD (50), both from Bor in Serbia, were arrested two days ago on suspicion of killing two-year-old Danka Ilić.
Her body has not yet been found.

The head of the Criminal Police Directorate, Ninoslav Cmolić, said that numerous locations will be searched again today in order to find the body of the two-year-old child, that other places will also be searched, and that they will not stop until they succeed in this.
"We will again search their houses and the surrounding area, septic tanks, cemeteries. The suspects admitted their guilt and described their roles in detail, but the main suspect did not say where he hid the body, stating that he does not remember and will not speak," Cmolić told TV Prva , stating that the suspects' confessions about what happened, which were heard separately, completely match.
The suspects for the murder of a child in the vicinity of Bor were questioned yesterday, explained Cmolić, but they did not present any new information, but repeated what they had already told before, that they hit little Danka with their car, stopped at the landfill, and put her body, but that the passenger later came and transferred it to another place.
"Their statements are that they hit the child, that the passenger got out of the vehicle, lifted the child from the floor, put him in the back of the car and after a few meters they stopped again because the girl allegedly woke up, got out of the car, opened the back and suffocated her . Those are their statements. After that, they went to the landfill, took the body out and left it at that landfill," said Cmolić.
"After a few days, the two talked about it, the driver asked him where the body was, but the latter told him 'that's my concern, I'll do what I needed to do,'" said Cmolić, explaining that even the driver didn't know where it was. that place.
Cmolić said that both suspects were polygraph tested very quickly, but that they were under the influence of alcohol, so they had delayed reactions, so they could not be detained immediately, because there were not enough other indications.
They came to them, as Cmolić explained, because that car they were driving, along with another one, were the only ones that stayed at the place where the little Dane was hit by a car, and that it happened very quickly after the child moved away from the mother.
