The President of the Assembly of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, assessed today that the Resolution of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN) on Srebrenica represents a "Pyrrhic victory and a foul by the great Western powers".
The UN has 193 member states, and the Resolution on the International Day of Remembrance of the Srebrenica Genocide was adopted yesterday with 84 votes in favor, 19 against and 68 abstentions.
Brnabić told RTS that Serbia showed how it fights for its interests, the world and international law and did not allow "our people to be stigmatized".

"This is all very fresh now and one thing I learned from (Serbian President) Aleksandar Vučić is that you should not react hastily," she said.
That's how she answered the question about the future relations of the official Belgrade with the countries of the European continent that supported the Resolution, which Serbia opposes.
"Everything I'm going to say is quite emotional...it will be extremely difficult for me personally to continue working with the countries that were sponsors and co-sponsors of that resolution," she said.
She said that "at all times" she would feel much closer to the countries that voted against, abstained, or left the room when the resolution was voted on.
"We should certainly continue to work with our partners and it is in our national interest and with the EU member states," she said.
She also said that "at all times" she will always be with the countries that were with Serbia at the UN, and she thanked everyone who supported Belgrade's positions.
