In the Cultural Center of Trebinje, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from June 14 to 16, the first international festival dedicated to media will be held under the name "Trebinje media fest - media of the digital age".
"The Festival is dedicated to contemporary trends in journalism, with the aim of pointing out the problems faced by the media in the era of the technological boom of social networks, digital platforms and new media tools," stated the organizers of the Festival.
The festival will be officially opened by the mayor of Trebinje, Mirko Ćurić, after which the play "I'm going to hug a tree" will be performed. It is a play in which the main protagonist is Andrija Milošević and which premiered in 2019.
"Prominent representatives of the media, directors, editors, journalists, as well as artists whose work is intertwined with the media will participate in the Festival. We are waiting for inspiring panels, discussions that will enable the exchange of experiences and ideas among professionals from different fields", the organizers stated.
On the second day of the Festival, panels will be held on the topic "Media and the Digital Age", and the panelists will be representatives of media houses from the region, while actor and presenter Ivan Ivanović will speak on the topic "Media Then and Now". Actor Andrija Milošević and producers Maja Maršićević and Marko Maršićević will take part in the final panel discussion.
"Trebinje media fest – media and the digital age" is held under the auspices of the City of Trebinje and the Cultural Center of Trebinje.
