In the local elections held in Belgrade in December last year, four electoral lists passed the census, with the fact that the opposition parties then had a total of 50 council seats, while in the elections held on June 2, five electoral lists passed the census, and the opposition parties , according to preliminary results, won 35 council mandates, not counting the "Mi - Voice of the People" list of Branimir Nestorović.
In the elections on June 2, the electoral list of the coalition around the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) won 64 mandates, which is 15 mandates more than the same list, in a slightly smaller coalition, won in the local elections in December last year.
The list "Aleksandar Vučić - Belgrade Tomorrow" in the elections held in June received the same number of votes as the list of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) "Ivica Dačić - Prime Minister of Serbia", which ran independently in the December elections and won five mandates, and which was the only party that passed the census at that time, from the parties that independently participated in the elections in December, and in June entered the joint election list around the progressives.
According to the preliminary data of the City Election Commission, the opposition list "Biramo Beograd", which included the parties that made up the "Serbia Against Violence" (SPN) list in the previous elections, with the exception of the Freedom and Justice Party and Zajedno, won on June 2 in the elections, 14 mandates, compared to the 43 mandates that the SPN party won in the elections in December, which is 29 mandates less.
The votes of the citizens of Belgrade for the opposition parties spilled over in the June elections to the list of the Kreni-Promeni "I am Belgrade" movement, which won 21 councilor mandates on its first participation in the elections, so that these two opposition lists together now have 35 councilors, out of 110 how many are there in the Belgrade City Assembly?
In addition to the votes obtained in the elections in December last year, the coalition NADA, consisting of the New Democratic Party of Serbia and the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia, which then won seven parliamentary mandates, while both parties boycotted the elections in June, the opposition bloc of parties after the elections had 50 council mandates last year.
Branimir Nestorović's list "Mi - glas iz naroda" recorded better results in the elections in June, which won ten mandates as councilors in the Belgrade City Assembly, compared to the six mandates it won in the elections in December last year.
According to preliminary results, the "Russian Party - Serbs and Russians are brothers forever" also passed the census in Sunday's elections, which as a minority list won one council mandate, which remained below the census in the elections in December.
