At the joint session of the governments of Serbia and Republika Srpska today in Belgrade, the "Declaration on the Protection of National and Political Rights and the Common Future of the Serbian People" was unanimously adopted.
The declaration of the two governments was made at the session of the "All-Serbian Parliament", which is being held today in Belgrade under the name "One nation, one parliament - Serbia and Srpska".
The Prime Minister of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, pointed out that the Declaration is "of exceptional importance for the Serbian people".
"When you see what it is all about, it will be clear to everyone how important this is for our people, both in Serbia and in the Republika Srpska," said Vucevic.
The two governments also adopted a proposal to launch an international competition for the creation of monuments and memorial centers dedicated to the victims of Jasenovac.
The Minister of Culture in the Government of Serbia, Nikola Selaković, said that the implementation and announcement of the competition will begin as soon as possible and that monuments and memorial centers will be built in the Republic of Srpska in the area of Kozarska Dubica near the Donja Gradin memorial area, as well as in Belgrade at a location that will later it will be fortified, but it will certainly be along the river Sava, which during the Second World War corpses from that camp reached the capital.
The ministers of the two governments also made a decision on joint investments between Serbia and the RS.
The Minister of Finance in the Government of Serbia, Siniša Mali, reminded that the exchange of goods between Serbia and the RS exceeded one billion euros.
He pointed out that Expo 2027 is the biggest development opportunity for the entire region and also for the RS.
He emphasized that he hopes that Serbia will reach 2027 billion GDP by 100 and that RS will also benefit from this.
"We will allocate 10 million euros for the completion of the Sremska Rača - Bijeljina road, and the construction of the Požega-Kotroman road is also planned," said Mali.
He added that the construction of the airport in Trebinje is a very important project, which will also be one of the priorities.
"In addition, investments in the field of energy are significant and very important to me, because the production of electricity must follow economic and infrastructure development," concluded Mali.
