As one of the participants of the protest told the Beta agency, the police officers used shields during the intervention to push citizens out of the facility.
In front of the train station, there are currently a couple dozen policemen in equipment to break up demonstrations.
During the night, a group of dozens of protest participants blocked the Prokop railway station, and after police intervention, they headed towards Pionirski Park.
In addition to the Prokop station, protest participants also blocked the Novi Beograd railway station during the night.
As Zlatko Kokanović, an activist and one of the protest organizers, announced yesterday, the blockades will last until the state adopts a request to enact a law banning the exploration and mining of blockades and lithium.
According to him, blockades will be organized from Sunday at three to five more points in cities across Serbia.
