The head of the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) William Burns had a short meeting today in Pristina with the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, at which the head of the Kosovo Intelligence Agency Petrit Ajeti was also present.
Burns then went to the US Embassy, the media reported.
The media in Pristina emphasized the strong security measures during Burns' arrival from the airport and during his visit to the Presidency of Kosovo.
Berns arrived in Kosovo after visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
There were no official announcements or information for the public during those visits either.
Previously, the American Embassy in Pristina did not confirm Burns' arrival in Kosovo, and neither did the Cabinet of the President of Kosovo and the Ministry of Interior of Kosovo.
