Actor Moamer Kasumović was sentenced to one year in prison for the crime of fornication of a minor, it was confirmed for the Sarajevo portal Klix.ba from the Prosecutor's Office of the Canton of Sarajevo.
"Based on the records of the KS Prosecutor's Office, we inform you that proceedings were conducted against the aforementioned person for the criminal offense of fornication, which was finally concluded before the Municipal Court in Sarajevo. He was found guilty and sentenced to one year in prison," said the Canton Prosecutor's Office. Sarajevo.
According to the Klix.ba, this information was first published by the Report, which states that after the performance of the Belgrade National Theater "Tiho, tiše", which was performed as part of the 6th Sarajevo Fest on September 16, at the National Theater in Sarajevo, there was a discussion about the play that talks about peer violence.
The report says that during that conversation, a young man stood up from the audience and "shocked everyone with his statement." He said, among other things, that he was a victim of pedophilia when he was 14 years old, and that the perpetrator was a famous actor.
The audience asked him who exactly it was, to which the young man answered - Moamer Kasumović (43).
The case took place in 2021, and was followed by a report and a court process that resulted in a verdict in which Kasumović was sentenced to one year in prison.
Given that the law allows that he can be "redeemed" up to a year in prison (about 100 convertible marks a day), it is assumed that the actor did that, which is why he never went behind bars.

Kasumović was born in Bijelo Polje, and is known for his role as Damir in the series "Crazy, Confused, Normal".
