According to official data from the MUP of the Herzegovina-Neretva County, the number of victims in the area affected by the flood has increased to 18.
The rescuers, searching the grounds of Konjic and Jablanica, found two more lifeless bodies, one in Buturović Polje, the other in the area of Donja Jablanica.
Earlier today, the spokesperson of the Government of Herzegovina-Neretva County, Darko Juka, said at a press conference that 13 people were officially killed in yesterday's catastrophic floods, landslides and landslides in the area of Jablanica and Konjic, and that 10 are missing, reports N1.
He says some people were reported dead multiple times, leading to confusion in the total number of victims.
"Yesterday, a figure of 16 people was mentioned, which we also presented, but it happened that three bodies were reported twice by different services, so now that figure has been corrected to 13. Of these, one person died in the area of Konjic, i.e. "Buturović field, while 12 people died in Jablanica. Of those 12, 11 have been identified. One person is not yet known, and it is assumed that he is a resident of Jablanica," said Juka, reports hercegovina.info.
