Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Internal Affairs Ivica Dacic said that many untruths and lies were heard at tonight's meeting of the opposition, with the aim of attacking President Aleksandar Vucic, adding that the Presidency building was not full of police, writes N1.
"At tonight's meeting of the opposition, numerous untruths and lies were heard, with the aim of attacking President Vučić. One of those lies is that the Presidency building is full of police. There was not a single policeman in the Presidency building, nor was that the case before," said Dacic, it was reported.
It is also a lie that people were detained in Novi Sad for no reason, Dacic explains further.
"I would like to remind you that every criminal offense or misdemeanor for which the persons were detained is documented by video recordings, it is about violent behavior, throwing stones at the City Hall, throwing pyrotechnic devices into the building, breaking and removing cameras, attacking the police, attacking the premises of SNS - a, etc. Ten policemen were injured in the process. These are the facts," said Dacic, according to the press release.
