At the train station in Ćuprija, which was reconstructed last year, part of the ceiling fell, but no one was injured, Danas reported.
The president of the Municipal Committee of the Democratic Party and member of the local parliament, Zoran Radulović, told Danas that the plaster had fallen off the ceiling in the building itself, leaving a gaping hole with beams sticking out.
"It happened, most likely last night, and luckily there was no one in the station at the time. Several squares of the ceiling fell onto the floor of the station," said Radulović.
According to him, so far no one has officially announced anything about this.
Last Sunday, the opposition councilor in Ćuprija, Miroslav Pešić, said at the session of the Municipal Assembly that the building of the railway station does not have a building permit.
That building was reconstructed last year.
