The President of the Government of Serbia, Miloš Vučević, said today that the explosion on the Ibar-Lepenac canal was a bad direction by Aljbin Kurti, which aimed to enable members of the Kosovo Security Forces (KBS) to enter the north of Kosovo and Metohija.
In a guest appearance on RTS's Dnevnik, he assessed that there is no concrete evidence that Serbia is involved in this, but Kurti hastened to immediately accuse it.
"That event should have served as an excuse for Kurti to introduce KBS to the north. However, KFOR rejected his request, and that should be said fairly," Vučević stressed.
He also pointed out that it will be interesting to hear what the members of the Quinta and the European Union have to say about all this, as he stated, especially after the ban on Serbian List MPs from participating in the work of the Kosovo Parliament.
"The culmination of democratic relations under the signs of allegations in Kosovo and Metohija was the ban on the elected deputies of the Serbian List from participating in the parliamentary debate," he said.
"Let's see what the international representatives will say. What they will say from Quinta and the EU. Are these European values? Will they evaluate the development of democracy and institutions in Kosovo and Metohija positively," asked Vucevic.
