The president of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, was admitted to a hospital in Belgrade today, where he will undergo an operation on his esophagus and stomach.
Due to acute pain, Dodik was examined today in the afternoon in Belgrade, after which he was hospitalized, the Cabinet of the President of Republika Srpska announced.
The announcement adds that according to the first diagnosis, after the necessary preparations, surgery on the esophagus and stomach will follow.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, visited tonight the President of the Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, who is hospitalized in Belgrade, and wished him a speedy recovery after tomorrow's intervention.
"I visited President Milorad Dodik before tomorrow's intervention and wished him a speedy recovery and good health. I look forward to continued cooperation and new meetings with the leadership of Srpska. We have a lot of joint work ahead of us," Vučić wrote on Instagram.
"The public will be informed in a timely manner about the state of health of the President of Republika Srpska," the announcement stated.
