The president of the Bosnian-Herzegovinian entity Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik underwent a successful operation in Belgrade today, his cabinet announced.
"After several hours of complicated surgery, which began at 8.00:XNUMX a.m., President Dodik was placed in the intensive care unit. The public will be informed in a timely manner about the state of health of the President of Republika Srpska," the announcement reads.
Last night, Dodik's cabinet announced that he was hospitalized in Belgrade due to acute pain and that it was determined that surgery on the esophagus and stomach was required.
Today's announcement states that Dodik was operated on at a clinic specialized in this type of disease, with the involvement and consultation of doctors from Republika Srpska.
