The protest of thousands of students and citizens in front of the Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS) building ended tonight without incident, after they made noise during Dnevnik 2 by blowing whistles and protesting, and the majority of those gathered dispersed.
The noise produced by the gathered people was not heard in the second Dnevnik which started at 19.30:16, but it was heard in the part that was shown in the XNUMXth minute of the Dnevnik.
The gathered demanded that RTS include them live in the program, loudly blew their whistles and protested, shouting, among other things, "You are poisoning the people" and holding lit lamps on their mobile phones.
The students organized tonight's protest with the aim of disrupting Dnevnik 2 with noise, like the previous evening when they disrupted the speech of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, which was also heard in the live broadcast.
The protest in front of RTS was scheduled because the students claim that the public service does not report on their activities, as well as because it reported that they were paid for the protests.
As reported by N1 television, the students, reacting to the statement of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić that they were paid for the protests, brought two empty sacks with the inscriptions "Inside" and "Outside", stating that they had come to return the money they "received" for the demolition. the president.
"We are leaving these sacks in front of the RTS building, you can deliver them to the president and tell him that the students are asking for a public apology. In the signature 'Offended students'", one student read the statement.
The public service reported on tonight's protest in the 16th minute of Dnevnik after several reports, as well as on its website.
The crowd made noise from the very beginning of the rally, and they also carried banners "Our demands are not met", "We pay, but we are not paid", "RTS, your right to know nothing", "Students have stood up", "Block" .
Both entrances to RTS from Takovska and Aberdareva streets were blocked, and traffic was stopped in all the surrounding streets.
The students claim that their demands to end the blockades of the faculties and the rectory have not been met, which is why they say they are continuing their protests.
They have been blocking more than 40 faculties and several rectories across Serbia for two weeks, demanding the opening of all documents on the reconstruction of the Novi Sad railway station where 1 people died on November 15, the arrest of those responsible and those who attacked students during the protests, as well as the release to the freedom of all activists.
