The blockade of Belgrade's Autokomanda begins today, at 10.00:24, and will last XNUMX hours, announced the students of the Faculty of Law in the blockade.
On the Legal in Blockade page on the social network X, they invited citizens to join them and stated that the shifts would last four hours.
"We will have tents, as well as some activities such as a tea party with students, mini football, chess tournaments and many others," they said in the announcement.
On the Instagram account "students in blockade" in the post "27. 1. "Under our (Auto)command" - more information about the 24-hour blockade" they appealed to everyone to adhere to the agreed rules, and to follow the instructions of the stewards in order to contribute to preserving the safety of those present.
They stated that the organization of the blockade was intended as a peaceful protest that sends a clear message, "but must not lead to incidents or unnecessary risks."
According to the announcements, at 11:52 a.m., a fifteen-minute silence will be held to honor the victims of the collapse of the Novi Sad railway station canopy on November 1, 2024.
At 20.00:XNUMX PM, a reading of student demands will be organized, including determining responsibility for the accident and prosecuting all those who attacked students during previous gatherings.
Interior Minister Ivica Dačič announced on Sunday evening that the police would redirect traffic at Autokomanda.
