"All five suspects have been questioned, and video recordings of the disputed event have been obtained. Summons have been sent to injured parties and witnesses to give statements at the premises of the Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade on January 30 and 31," the statement added.
Regarding the incident during the protest on Woodrow Wilson Boulevard on November 27, the prosecutor's office announced that it had submitted a request to the police to collect the necessary information, in order to determine the existence of elements of a possible criminal offense for which prosecution is being undertaken ex officio.
Regarding the same event, the VJP also sent a request to the Internal Control Sector of the Ministry of Interior to collect the necessary information with an order to interview the Head of the Public Order and Peace Department of the Metropolitan Municipality Police Administration, in order to comment on the circumstances of causing the riot or otherwise his inappropriate behavior or the actions of other participants.
