The President of Republika Srpska (RS), one of the two Bosnian-Herzegovinian entities, Milorad Dodik, stated tonight in Skopje that "Serbs today have two states in the Balkans - RS and Serbia" and that "the Serbian people did not get their hands dirty in the civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)."
"But, in any case, I want to say that RS is what we live in. And we live it as a state. We are convinced that Serbs today in the Balkans have two states - RS and Serbia," Dodik said at the St. Sava Academy on the occasion of Saint Sava Day, held at the Macedonian National Theatre.
The President of the RS said that some people disagree with this, but that it will not help them because he agrees with himself that the RS is a state.
"We want to live in the state the way it was given to other nations. We do not want to impose any evil on anyone. Serbs have shown this throughout history," said the President of RS.
Dodik pointed out that Serbs "have always been ready to suffer without losing face" and that their history "has always been on the side of the victors."
"The Serbian people, regardless of the fact that they are trying to impose a label on them from the past civil war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, have not soiled their hands. They lie when they talk about genocide, they lie when they talk about many things... They lied when they said that we killed 300.000 members of another people. It is not true. Now when you step back, you see that it is not true," Dodik said at the St. Sava Academy organized by the Serbian Cultural Center "Skopje".
