Today marks one hundred days since the collapse of a canopy at the Novi Sad Railway Station in Serbia, an accident that killed 15 and seriously injured two people.

Students from the Faculty of Agriculture in Zemun have blocked the Gazela Bridge in Belgrade, and the blockade will last from 11 am to 18 pm.

"It has been 100 days since the tragedy in Novi Sad, and no one has yet been held accountable for the 15 lives lost. We insist that the relevant institutions take responsibility," the students wrote in the post.

Today, after paying tribute to the victims, students threw 15 roses into the river from the Gazela Bridge for the 15 victims.

In Novi Sad, three major intersections were blocked from 11 a.m. to 14 p.m., practically preventing entry into the city, reports N1.

"100 days since the canopy fell, 100 days of fighting for justice and accountability, see you later, bring your whistles," read the message calling for a blockade of intersections in the city.

During the blockade, citizens wrote "100 days, 0 responses" in red paint on the roadway.

Five students from the University of Kragujevac will run a relay marathon to Belgrade today, in order to deliver invitations to their colleagues from Novi Sad, Niš and Belgrade for the protest that will be held in Kragujevac on Sretenje, February 15th.

Protests and "15 minutes of silence" will be held today in several cities in Serbia, but also around the world.
