Dodik's middle finger to Schmidt: He deserves to be stoned to death

After the verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the President of the Bosnian entity Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, said in the square in Banja Luka that he had been "sentenced to their s....e, their prison for a year."

The Court of BiH sentenced Dodik to one year in prison and a six-year ban on political activity.

"We have to be cheerful, I was sentenced to their s....e, their prison for a year. They say I'm guilty, and now people here will say I'm not guilty. There's no reason to worry, I've learned to deal with harder things, so we'll bring this one up too," said Dodik.

Dodik is accused of signing presidential decrees declaring two unconstitutional laws of the RS, which the High Representative had previously annulled, valid. These are the laws on the non-implementation of decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH and the non-implementation of decisions of the High Representative on the territory of the RS.

He also said that he had a message for the High Representative of the International Community, Christian Schmidt, "that our people understand," after which he raised the middle finger of his right hand.

"When you see Schmidt, tell the police to arrest him and throw him out of here. He doesn't deserve to walk through Serbian land, he deserves to be chased away with stones. He was the first to commit violence, and we have the right to defend ourselves, and we will defend ourselves at every turn. No one will persecute you for that," he said.

He added that his motive in politics was one - that he would not allow "the distorted will of those people from Sarajevo who are not Muslim people."

"The Muslim people are a good people, but they are in the delusions of political Islam, which pushes them into a certain radicalism that we only see among their politicians. No Muslim in Republika Srpska should have any problems. Any Serb who does anything against Muslims does not have my support," he added.

He also said that he had two phone calls - one from Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and the other from Hungarian President Viktor Orban.

"Vučić said that he stands behind Republika Srpska and us. Long live Aleksandar Vučić. Orban told me the same thing. I invite Vučić to come to Banja Luka tonight or tomorrow and let's agree on how and what we will do," said Dodik.

He also said that they were waiting for the decision of the Court of BiH as a political action.

"As a reason for political action. Today, you no longer have the Bosnia and Herzegovina that you imagined. We are still offering you a constitutional Bosnia and Herzegovina. You have a very short time to accept a constitutional Bosnia and Herzegovina, if you do not, we will not wait long for you. Today, we will decide in the Assembly and make important decisions regarding the rejection of this process and that the Assembly will reject this process in court. Later during the day and night, we will pass several laws, the first of which is the law on the ban on the work of the prosecution in the RS, the second is on the ban on the work of the BiH court in the RS, the third is the law on the ban on the activities of the High and Judicial Prosecutorial Council at the level of BiH and the formation of the High Prosecutorial Council of the RS. The fourth law that we will pass is the law on the activities of SIPA in the RS. The next law is the law on the ban on the activities of the intelligence service in the RS...", said Dodik, among other things.

SNSD Main Board member Dragana Lukač said that Dodik "does not need defense."

"Here we are defending the institution of Republika Srpska, the institution of the president. Those who want to destroy it know very well why they are attacking the first among us. When they take away our institutions, the president, the government, the parliament, then there is no Republika Srpska. Why did we die then? What were we doing, we were only defending our own. We are still ready to defend our own. We must never risk our institutions and sell them for anything. Whoever is against our institutions is against the Serbian people...", said Lukač.
